The professional regulations of practice for lawyers in Germany are resulting out of the following regulations: the Federal Lawyers' Act (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung, BRAO), the Rules of Professional Practice of Lawyers in Germany (Berufsordnung für Rechtsanwälte, BORA), the Rules of Certified Specialist Lawyers in Germany (Fachanwaltsordnung, FAO), Statutes of the council of bars and law societies of Europe (Berufsregeln der Rechtsanwälte der Europäischen Union, CCBE), the Law regulating the activity of European Lawyers in Germany (Gesetz über die Tätigkeit europäischer Rechtsanwälte in Deutschland, EuRAG) and the Lawyers' Compensation Act (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz, RVG). Andrea Rawanschad keeps a professional liability insurance for lawyers at Allianz insurance (Allianz Versicherungs-AG, 10900 Berlin) with coverage for the area of the European Union and countries of European Economic Area.
Following their proessional regulations lawyers are not permitted to represent conflicting interests (§ 43a Abs. 4 BRAO). Accordingly, the existence of any such conflicting interests is checked before any acceptance of legal representation.
In case of conflicts between lawyers and their clients it is possible to apply for a formal arbitration at the regional responsible chamber and inspecting authority, the Bar Association Cologne (Rechtsanwaltskammer Köln) following § 73 Abs. 2 Nr. 3 and § 73 Abs. 5 BRAO, or, alternatively it is possible to apply for a respective arbitration at the arbitration board of the German Federal Bar following § 191f BRAO (www.brak.de, email: schlichtungsstelle@brak.de).

1. Collecting general information

- this is legally permissible and according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. B DSGVO is required for the settlement of contractual relationships with you.
4. Your rights to information, correction, suspension, cancellation and opposition
You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time. Likewise, you have the right to correction, blocking or, apart from the prescribed data storage for business transactions, deletion of your personal data. Please contact our data protection officer. The contact details can be found at the bottom of this site (see # 6). To ensure that a data block can be taken into account at any time, these data must be kept in a lock file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of the data, as long as there is no legal archiving obligation. As far as such an obligation exists, we lock your data on request. You can make changes or revoke your consent by notifying us with effect for the future.
5. Change of our privacy policy
We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure that it complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes, for example, when introducing new services. Your new visit will be subject to the new privacy policy.
